On 17 September, Konstanze Schiessl from OnCyt delivered an insightful presentation at the KCL BIOHUB webinar, titled "Microbial Process Monitoring by Online Flow Cytometry". This event, part of KCL BIOHUB's ongoing webinar series, was focussed on microbiology processes and products for the forest industry and drew an audience of around 100 participants, primarily from the industrial sector.
Konstanze’s talk highlighted the application of online flow cytometry for real-time monitoring of microbial communities in industrial processes. Online flow cytometry and its combination with new innovative assays such as the one developed during the Promicon project allow for more precise and efficient control of microbial communities, enhancing the performance of industrial processes.
