Last week, project partner Isle Utilities hosted PROMICON’s second Innovation Workshop. This event brought together key stakeholders to advance the development of innovative solutions for sustainable resource recovery.
During the workshop organised and delivered by Isle Utilities, researchers from UFZ, CSIC, and UU presented their latest advancements in producing bioproducts like PHACOS, butanol, and hydrogen using synthetic microbiomes. These presentations were followed by engaging Q&A sessions with the project's Innovation Board, which provided valuable feedback on potential barriers and opportunities for commercialisation.
The insights gained from the Innovation Board will help shape the business strategies and roadmaps that Isle Utilities is developing for PROMICON's innovative solutions. The project team is committed to maximising the impact of these technologies and accelerating their adoption in the market.
Stay tuned for the third and final PROMICON's Innovation Workshop next year!
