PROMICON’s innovative technological solutions: The GreenTech Catalogue feature

Technology is an essential factor in moving towards a more sustainable, green industry adapted to the consequences of climate change. As a key project with new transformational concepts for the bio-economy sector, PROMICON was recently featured in Тhe GreenTech Catalogue.

Thе catalogue of solutions in green technology arises from the ProACCIÓ Green program, an ACCIÓ initiative, that includes services, grants, and activities for sustainability positioning. This catalogue is an example of good practices from nearly a hundred companies - аn inspiring tool to accompany the process of green transition.

The GreenTech Catalogue aims to collect green technology solutions, developed in Catalonia, designed to create a more sustainable society, to increase the resiliency of Catalan ecosystems and to achieve a major adaptation to climate change. It promotes the technology solutions in national and international contexts, in an effort to raise awareness and facilitate their recognition. The 121 included solutions have been chosen based on technological, innovative, scalability and green solution criteria. 

The catalogue comprises solutions that respond to nine different environmental challenges with PROMICON featured in the Industrial transition to the circular economy category. The project is presented with an overview and description of its environmental impacts and benefits, solutions, difficulties and challenges.
