Partners participation at the China-Spain New Energy and Materials Industry-Academic Cooperation Forum

PROMICON partner from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) participated in the 2024 China-Spain New Energy and Materials Industry-Academic Cooperation Forum, held at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). This event served as a platform for fostering technological innovation and strengthening academic and industrial collaboration between China and Spain.

During the forum, a PROMICON representative, Prof. Joan Garcia, delivered a lecture titled “Bioproducts Derived from Microbial Photosynthesis”. This presentation showcased the ongoing research on producing bioplastics from cyanobacteria and microbiomes.

The forum, expertly organised by BUCT, facilitated impactful discussions for potential collaborations, paving the way for exciting future partnerships. This participation highlights PROMICON's commitment to advancing sustainable bioproducts and fostering international collaboration to drive technological progress.
