PROMICON at the 2022 European Researcher's Night

This year’s European Researcher’s Night took place on 30 September in 26 Europe-wide countries, including Portugal, where the PROMICON partners from NOVA University Lisbon participated.

Each year the event gathers more than a million visitors from across Europe and beyond, and aims at promoting excellence in research projects, increasing interest of young minds in science and research and showcases the impact of scientific work on people’s everyday life. 

The European Researcher’s Night in Lisbon was dedicated to bringing citizens closer to science and to show them what is being done in the different areas of scientific research. The event gathered more than 3000 visitors, who had the chance to explore - among others - the PROMICON info stand, where Cristiana Torres of NOVA University Lisbon was presenting the project.
